Rugged X USB Drive

The marketing and engineering teams approached me with a project to design secured and rugged concept USBs. While the engineers had developed an impressive USB chip with excellent performance, they lacked a suitable case for it.

Taking on the challenge, I created multiple design concepts for Rugged USBs and presented them to the teams. Among the concepts, this particular design stood out and was chosen for further development. The teams proceeded to bring this concept to life, resulting in the creation of the actual product.

pico usb Drive

Super Talent’s highly awarded Pico USB drives pack huge capacities into a tiny elegant case. The Pico-mini drives offer amazing capacity considering their compact size and come in several fun colors. The Pico Series comes in a variety of sleek designs that are all convenient and reliable USBs.

The Godfather usb

Paramount want to have their own USB brand with Godfather logo. Paramount and SuperTalent made a contract and the company agreed to provide OEM USBs. I designed some USBs with their graphics and show couple of concept to them. I discussed with marketing director and we choose to use Pico Series(#1 selling USB) for them.

Design Process

I researched their other products in the market to find out their design style and brand image. Also, I followed their guideline which is very strict and kept their design requirement. They also want to sell rubber usb case so I provided that design as well.

Package design

I worked with their design team for the package. They already have some package templates for their products and they want to keep their brand images. I updated USB package from their template with new contents and our logo.

Many people think classic and the luxury pen is the symbol of wealth. This product offered to clients that different choices and different levels of consumer electronic devices. This Pen USB Drive is a device for people who want to bring a pen and USB together.
